Will Democrats Win in 2008?

The last election was won by effective campaigning: "smears, fears, and queers," as Al Franken says, or "guns, gays, and God." Already the Republicans are positioning themselves with Congressional votes on gay marriage, flag burning, "Death Taxes," and defending our country against "international terrorism." Will the genius of Carl Rove be able to erase the stench of the Bush presidency and unite the Christian Right, anti-government rural America, and Corporate America to steal another election?
